Re-Visiting the "Reptile-Skin" Purse- Part 3 of 4

Rolling...

                                                    ...and felting the piece.

The inside of the purse on side one...

...and on side two (on view: the embellished interior pocket).

                                                    The fully felted bag interior...

                                            ...and exterior: blocked and drying.

The purse sports a bright pocket and bottom.

The silk-embellished side of the bag...

                                                    ...and the 'wool only' side.

Next time: functional additions are made...

...(a zipper and a handmade leather strap).

Dear Heather

Wooaaah. You did an amazing job once again.I'm always wainting for your next article with great explanatory photos :) love the colours and the felt reptile skin structure. Photo 7 reminds me open mouthed reptile and the interior pocket is the tongue..hihi..

On this bag, I rather like the inside better than the outside. Maybe I'm just "strange." LOL

Sandie- I know what you mean...the vague grid on the non-pocket side IS kind of cool!
